Dermal Fillers

As we age, our face naturally loses fat and collagen, which results in skin laxity and wrinkles. Dermal fillers restore the volume that has been lost by natural aging, creating a more youthful look by reducing wrinkles, softening creases, and plumping thin lips. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin with the purpose of "plumping" that area to decrease a wrinkle, a skin fold or to simply improve general volume loss for a particular area. Certain dermal fillers are better for specific anatomical areas such as cheeks, nasolabial folds (smile lines), temple hollowing, or lips.
