What is the UROMAXX Chair?

The UroMaxx Chair is a non-invasive pelvic floor strengthening treatment. During a 30-minute session, you remain fully clothed while the chair delivers thousands of deep pelvic floor contractions — similar to doing an intense Kegel workout without effort. The UroMaxx Chair uses electromagnetic muscle stimulation to activate deep pelvic floor muscles, helping improve bladder leakage, urgency, pelvic floor weakness, and intimate wellness.

One 30-minute session = approximately 12,000 Kegel-like contractions.

advanced pelvic floor & sexual health therapy at MAgnolia Aesthetics & Wellness

What Can It Help With?

The UroMaxx Chair may help improve:

  • Urinary leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, jumping, or exercise
  • Urinary urgency and frequency
  • Pelvic floor weakness after pregnancy or childbirth
  • Pelvic floor weakness related to aging or menopause
  • Core and pelvic support
  • Intimate wellness concerns: Erectile Dysfunction for men, Enhanced sensation for women
  • Pelvic floor strengthening is for both women and men

How It Works

The pelvic floor muscles support the bladder, bowel, uterus/prostate, and overall core stability. When these muscles weaken, symptoms such as leakage, urgency, and reduced pelvic control may occur.

The UroMaxx Chair stimulates the pelvic floor muscles through thousands of powerful involuntary contractions. These contractions help “re-educate” and strengthen the pelvic floor over time — similar to how repetitive strength training builds muscle in the gym.

What to Expect

  • Treatment Time: 30 minutes
  • Downtime: None
  • Comfort Level: Most clients describe it as unusual but not painful
  • Clothing: Remain fully clothed (wear soft athletic wear to your appt-long pants preferred).
  • After Treatment: Resume normal activity immediately

Clients may feel tingling, tapping, or strong pelvic floor contractions during treatment. No anesthesia, undressing, or recovery time is required.

Recommended Treatment Series

For best results, we recommend starting with a structured treatment plan to properly strengthen and retrain the pelvic floor muscles.

Recommended Starting Plan:

At least 8 sessions

  • Typically performed 2 times weekly
  • Most clients complete their initial series over approximately 4 weeks
  • Maintenance sessions may be recommended monthly or quarterly depending on symptoms and goals

Why a Package is Recommended:

Pelvic floor muscles require repetition and consistency to rebuild strength — just like exercising any other muscle group. While some clients notice improvement early, the best and most lasting results occur after completing a full treatment series.

Who Is Not a Candidate?

The UroMaxx Chair may not be appropriate for individuals with:

  • Pregnancy
  • Pacemakers or implanted electronic devices
  • Metal implants near the pelvic area
  • Active cancer in the treatment area
  • Seizure disorders/epilepsy
  • Recent pelvic surgery or open wounds
  • Active urinary tract infection
  • Undiagnosed pelvic pain or abnormal bleeding

A free consultation is required to determine candidacy.
